How Do I Enroll My Child?
1. Schedule a Tour
Begin your journey with a personal tour of Waves of Wonder Montessori School. Meet our team, explore our classrooms, and learn more about our Montessori approach, daily routines, and educational programs.
2. Experience a Trial Day
After your tour, prospective students are invited to spend one or more trial days in the classroom. This gives your child an opportunity to experience the Montessori environment, meet teachers and classmates, and participate in classroom activities while allowing our teachers to determine if the classroom is a good fit for your child.
3. Complete Enrollment Paperwork
Once your child has been accepted, families will receive an enrollment packet with the necessary forms and information to complete the enrollment process. This includes student information, medical and permission forms, and tuition details.
4. Welcome to Waves of Wonder!
Once your paperwork is complete and enrollment is finalized, your family is ready to begin the Waves of Wonder experience. We look forward to welcoming you into our school community!
Do You Offer Part-Time Schooling?
At Waves of Wonder Montessori School, we believe that consistency is an important part of creating a comfortable and secure learning environment for children. For this reason, we do not offer part-time enrollment. A consistent classroom schedule allows children to become familiar with their teachers, classmates, routines, and Montessori work cycle, helping them feel confident, connected, and comfortable in their environment.
How Do I Communicate To Teachers and Staff?
At Waves of Wonder Montessori School, we believe that keeping families connected to their child’s school experience is an important part of our community. Our school uses a dedicated communication app for family messaging and special glimpses into your child’s day. Teachers and administrative team members regularly share classroom updates, activities, and photographs, giving parents an opportunity to see the learning, exploration, and experiences happening throughout the school day.
Once your child is officially enrolled and begins in their classroom, families will receive a unique code and instructions for accessing the application. Through the app, parents can stay informed, communicate with the school, and enjoy regular snapshots of their child’s Montessori journey.
What Scholarships Are Accepted at WOW?
We proudly accept Step Up For Students scholarship funding, which can help eligible Florida families with the cost of private school tuition and fees. Scholarship eligibility and funding amounts vary by student and program, and families are responsible for completing the application and enrollment process through Step Up For Students.
For eligible preschool-aged children, Waves of Wonder also offers a VPK tuition discount to help make our Montessori program more accessible to families participating in Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten program. Families interested in VPK or scholarship assistance are encouraged to speak with our admissions team to learn more about eligibility, available options, and how these benefits can be applied toward tuition.
How Do I Get My Child Involved In Clubs & Specialty Classes?
Waves of Wonder Montessori School offers a variety of enrichment opportunities for students to explore new interests beyond the classroom. Our programs include:
– Musik For You Piano Lessons

These programs provide additional opportunities for students to discover new interests, try new activities, and explore their passions!

Payment for these programs is made directly to the individual provider and is separate from Waves of Wonder tuition and the school’s regular invoice. Families interested in participating can receive enrollment and payment information directly from the applicable program provider. Please visit the “Beyond the Classroom” page for sign-up links.
How Are The Classrooms Grouped?
The Montessori method is built around multi-age classrooms and student-led learning, creating an environment where children can learn at their own pace, develop independence, and learn alongside peers at different stages of development. Rather than organizing children strictly by one grade level, Montessori classrooms bring together children within developmental age ranges. This allows younger students to learn by observing older classmates, while older students strengthen their understanding and leadership skills by helping and modeling for younger children.
At Waves of Wonder Montessori School, our classrooms are thoughtfully organized to support each stage of a child’s development:
Infant: 2 months – 18 months
Toddler: 18 months – 36 months
Primary I: 3 – 5 years
Primary II: 3 – 5 years
Lower Elementary: Kindergarten – 3rd Grade
Upper Elementary: 3rd – 5th Grade
Middle School: 6th – 8th Grade
