Upper Elementary; The Concept Masters

Led by Mrs. Alicia, with the support of Ms. Cassie and Ms. Alex, our Upper Elementary classroom encourages students to deepen their understanding through advanced Montessori lessons and hands-on exploration. Students study a wide range of subjects, including botany, anatomy, zoology, morphology, cartography, geometry, and hands-on equations, along with many other concepts across science, mathematics, language, and geography. Beyond academics, practical life skills are an important part of the curriculum, with opportunities to explore baking, cooking, and sewing while developing creativity, patience, coordination, and independence. Through research, experimentation, problem-solving, and real-world experiences, students make meaningful connections between their lessons and everyday life. With guidance from their teachers, students are encouraged to take ownership of their education, master challenging concepts, and build the confidence and independence needed for continued academic growth.
